Blowing Bubbles

Busted.

New favorite activity is making a lot of noise and soaking my shirt with drool and bubbles.

I can entertain myself for hours! (well maybe a half-hour)

Is it Spring yet?!

The weather has been amazing lately, and Dallas is in full bloom with our favorite Bradford Pears popping up everywhere. It reminds me of this time a year ago when we found out I was pregnant! Most of my baby clothes and summer dresses are just barely going to work for Carlyle because we were born at opposite times of the year and seasons. But I was determined for her to get her little self into this adorable bubble suit that was mine. Can't wait to see more of those naked legs and arms in the months to come. They are just to cute to cover up in winter clothes!

Carlyle only speaks french when playing with her favorite french giraffe.

This was in my Dad's office for years, and he stiched it himself when I was a baby... alongside my Mom I'm sure. Now it sits on my dresser and reminds me of what having a daughter meant to him and now what it means to me.

Four Months and Ten Toes

Carlyle has found her feet, and they are her new favorite toy. When you unwrap her blanket, her feet pop up into her hands like there is a spring release. She is making a lot of noise, cooing and talking in the conversations going on around her.

The precious light in our lives... thank God for her.

A tangled mess of fingers and toes.
